Busy weeks (first steps)
Sophie is definitely have a couple of wonder weeks. While last week especially had some sooky days and trouble going to sleep, she has learnt to do a lot recently.
She first took some unassisted steps on the last weekend of May (5 in a row) and has been tentatively trying a few steps since, much prefering to have a helping hand. But today she is practically strolling around (slight exaggeration). She walked across from her chair to pick a toy of a low table and just stood there like she always done that.
There have been lots of other new things in the last 2 weeks including:
Waving bye bye to Daddy.
Clapping.
Pointing to noses, ears, eyes and mouths on parents and toys.
Putting things in. In a bowl, in a box.
Pushing up to standing from the floor.(although being upside down like downward dog is fun)
Shaking her head. (doesn't mean no yet)
Kicking legs to fit in a song.
And discovering gravity at dinner time.
Its amazing to see her fit things together. No wonder she's a little cranky. Her head must be hurting from all that learning.
But she is still a happy smiley little girl most of the time.
